We are part of the national State Voices network of like-minded organizations.

* Identify and provide key services (e.g., central voter file, targeting data, re-grants, communications training and support) that Blueprint NC should provide its partner organizations.
* Facilitate the development of an ongoing strategy that yields an increase in the power and influence of progressive activists and voters.
* Write and implement the organizational plan and budget for the collaborative, with input from the partner organizations.
* Raise funds from state and national sources required to support an approximately $800,000 annual budget.
* Manage the 3.5 staff and other consultants required to implement the Blueprint NC plan.
* Facilitate the work of the Steering Committee; ensure clear and coherent communication between Communications Committee, Civic Engagement Committee, and Steering Committee.
* Lead outreach to other state and national organizations to build the reach and depth of the partnership.
* Plan for long-term organizational growth.
* Work with State Voices staff and affiliates to learn from and share best practices with other states.
* Implement systems for ongoing evaluation of effectiveness of strategies.

* Understanding of nonprofit capacity building.
* Understanding of roles nonprofits can play in nonpartisan voter engagement activity.
* Knowledge of North Carolina's political and policy landscape, issues, and leaders.
